There are many practical and effective natural cures for yeast infections. But a combination approach can work best when it comes to a stubborn case.
The protocol that I recommend is to used Apple Cider Vinegar with mother (acv)and water in a 1:1 ratio (1:2 if it's too strong for you)with 2-6 drops of grapefruit seed extract (gse) and a garlic tablet or sealed garlic clove.
First, insert the garlic tablet or small clove into the vaginal opening (not deep). If the thin skin on the clove isn't intact, you will know because there will be an intense burning sensation. Next, take a tampon with a plastic applicator and dip it into the water, acv & gse mixture then insert tampon into the vaginal canal. You may need to expose a bit of the cotton so the solution wicks into the tampon. Any left over mixture can be soaked up with a cotton ball and dabbed on the labia. To keep the labia from drying out use organic unrefined coconut oil. Not only will it relieve the drying and itching but it is anti-fungal, viral and bacterial.
This should be changed every 4 to 6 hours with a couple hour rest in between. Continue 2 days after symptoms disappear. If for some reason symptoms do not improve please consult with your local practitioner.
All of the ingredient above can also be taken orally to help fight yeast from the inside out. It is always best to cut out grains, starches and sugars since they promote yeast overgrowth. I would also recommend taking probiotics. As an adjunct to creating a yeast-free vaginal environment; plain yogurt (preferable Greek) can be placed in the vagina via a plastic syringe (without the needle) then a tampon inserted for a few hours.
